If you're a keen DIYer, you may want to create your own unique garden shed, or simply buy a pre-made shed or one that's ready to assemble. You'll want to choose one that's the right size and is fit for purpose, whether that's storage, to function as a garden office, or summerhouse to entertain, relax and unwind.
DIYing your own shed can be a less expensive option and things to consider are the structural timbers you'll need, as well as your cladding timbers. Plus you'll need enough roof felt to cover the whole area, with extra to tuck around the edges to secure it.

Build or assemble your shed on a firm foundation such as a concrete or plastic base, paving slabs, or simply on crushed stone, and keep it water-tight and protected from the elements using a product such as Ronseal One Coat Fence Life.
