As the spread of Covid-19 escalates, we want to reassure you that the wellbeing of our employees and customers remains at the forefront of our current activities. We have put in place a series of measures to enable us to maintain continuity of service across all areas of our business, which are designed to adapt against the backdrop of Government advice.

We have a robust communication strategy and our Business Continuity Team meet daily via conference call to update our colleagues offering guidance and feedback. All areas of our business are currently open and we have taken the following additional steps to further manage risk, in what is a growing period of uncertainty;

  • All collections from branches are taking place from designated areas within our Yards. We have closed all but a few Trade Counters to ensure we can guarantee a 2-3M safe zone
  • Driver protocols have been put in place to allow us to deliver with minimum driver contact, please do not be offended if drivers do not exit their cabs until they have a 2-3M safe space to do this in

The situation is evolving quickly, and whilst contact with our teams will be as normal by telephone, we would advise that when collecting at branches customers take extreme care. Our sole aim is to keep one another safe.
